Emergency Preparedness for Individuals and Families 7-2023
The Anne Arundel County Office of Emergency Management was established in 2006 to coordinate the County's response to major emergencies. Our mission is to help our County agencies, non-governmental organizations, businesses, and residents prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies and disasters.
The Anne Arundel County Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is a multi-discipline, all-hazards plan that establishes a single, comprehensive framework for the management of major emergencies and disasters within the County. The EOP provides guidelines on roles and responsibilities to prevent, mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from the effects of natural, man-made, and technological disasters as well as other major incidents and hazards.
